Scuba Diving
SCUBA stands for 'Self Contained Underwater Breathing
Apparatus'. This is the equipment developed by a French lieutenant Jacques
Cousteau, later to become a world famous underwater explorer and
conservationist, along with Emile Gagnan in the mid 1940's. Originally it was
intended for us for the French navy during the Second World War. However, after
the war, scuba diving turned into a recreational sport that today is enjoyed by
millions of people worldwide. When first learning it is important to e trained
and become scuba certified. Although scuba gear does at first seem a little
complicated, it is in fact very easy to use. It is often useful to rent scuba
gear before your decide to buy.
Scuba diving takes place everywhere there is water! Form
the warm and sea life rich water of the Caribbean to remote corner of the
Pacific. It is truly an amazing experience that everyone should try. We hope
